Welcome

My studio is situated in the North east of Scotland nestled in the "Mearns" of Kincardineshire, where I find an abundance of inspiration for my paintings.
Acrylic, gouache and inks are my preferred media. Landscape, seascape and quirky architecture are my main themes at present. I have been inspired by Scotland's East and West coasts and time spent in Denmark and Norway.
I strive to create clean lines, balanced colour and to communicate a sense of well being through each piece. This results in the creation of strong almost graphic images which reflect my training in design.
My time in the studio is divided between commissions, exhibition work and private tutoring. Visitors are very welcome at the studio by appointment.
